(Senior) Developers P&I Suite Architecture
PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
P&I Architecture is responsible for ensuring that S/4HANA meets the current and future business requirements from an architectural standpoint and sets the standard for application software. Consequently, P&I Architecture bridges the gap between application and technology and, in this role, assumes major responsibility for the simplification of S/4HANA as well as for the usability of the technology. This is achieved by
Acting as technology scout, assessing new technology offerings, and driving their adoption .
Pushing innovation of S/4HANA in all areas, such as UX, HANA Analytics, predictive, IoT, and interaction with two-tier applications
Simplifying S/4HANA through homogenization and consequent adherence to the principle of oneWith sound knowledge of new developments in technology on the market, of the capabilities of SAP technology, and of the requirements of the applications, P&I Architecture promotes decision-making between application and technology. To this end, P&I architects are active in front-runner projects in applications and launch their own PoCs for a development model that can be easily consumed by SAP, partners, and customers alike, owing to the guarantee of integrated modeling and simple extensibility, and that lends itself equally to cloud applications as well as to big data applications. Such pioneer work is constantly geared toward delivering a productizable solution rather than a showcase for demonstration only.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/ SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
University degree in Computer Sciences or related field
Solid knowledge on database and good experience in SQL programming
Be familiar with common algorithms, design patterns, software engineering methodologies and data security
Profound knowledge of development processes and product standards & tools
Proven track record in Software Development
Must be: Innovative out-of-the box thinker combined with business acumen
Must be: Working in international teams and advanced communication skills
Results-driven combined with quality focus
High affinity to development-related topics in IT industry
Fast learning of new development languages
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
As a (Senior) Developer in PI Suite Architecture you will work on varying projects like a field name catalog for CDS views (running on HCP) or PoCs for tools improving the developer efficiency, being responsible for design, coding, testing, and quality assurance in an international team:
Resolve complex issues within own area of expertise and supports others in resolving issues
Drive initiative & topics to resolution in a high level of quality, speed, reliability and efficiency
Work closely together with others and shares expertise to ensure product success
